Biography
Mohammadreza Karami was a 16-year-old teenager from Malekshahi, Ilam Province, who was killed by security forces during the crackdown on nationwide protests on January 3, 2026. He was buried on January 6, 2026, as a large crowd gathered to chant slogans against the Islamic Republic. He is remembered as one of the child victims of the violent state suppression during the January 2026 protest movement.
محمدرضا کرمی، نوجوان ۱۶ ساله اهل ملکشاهی در استان ایلام، در تاریخ ۱۳ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان سرکوب اعتراضات مردمی توسط نیروهای امنیتی جان باخت. پیکر او در ۱۶ دی ۱۴۰۴ در میان تجمع گسترده مردم و شعارهای اعتراضی علیه حکومت در زادگاهش به خاک سپرده شد. نام وی به عنوان یکی از کودکانی که در جریان خیزش دیماه ۱۴۰۴ کشته شدند، در گزارشهای حقوق بشری ثبت شده است.
